With the correct model and spec the ZX5 is able to take some tall profiles above 90-95 mm tall. To be able to take any profile bar above 90mm in height, certain manual mechanical changes and adjustments are required to the saw outfeed clamp and the grippers, by the operator / maintenance engineer, before being able to put a tall profile through the machine. The below guide shows how to carry out these adjustments.

Étape 1 - Remove gripper pin block (MH and Saw Side)

-Remove the gripper pin block by taking out the centre bolt between the pins,

-Pull the block piece from the gripper body. to remove

...These Changes are Required on both MH and Saw side Grippers

Étape 2 - Move into the position required

-Ensure the small black pins on the back of the block and the bushes in the gripper body are still inserted correctly.

-Push the gripper pin block into the desired bushes. The top position is for the profiles above 90mm in height

-Tighten the Centre bolt back in to fully secure the grip pin block.

Étape 3 - Adjust Saw Outfeed Top Clamp Height

- Loosen the Kip clamp handle (Anti-Clockwise) (1)

-Slide the Clamp body up on the pillars to the max position stop for the tall profiles above 90mm or down to the minimum stop position for regular height profiles.

- Tighten up the Kip Clamp Handle (Clockwise)
