use of the throwawayEjectAtStart parameter
Moving_Awkward_Waste_Offcut_to_Start_of_Bar_Image_1.png
Certain lengths of wide offcuts, particularly cills on Autocuts / Autoflows are difficult to eject at the end of the bar.
The waste piece needs to find a way to be moved from the infeed to the outfeed side of the clamps, over the saw blade.
The "standard" way to handle this is the software adds an inverse mitre to the end of the bar, to help deter the offcut from clashing with the backfence, but this is not always successful. There is also an issue on very wide cills where the mitre cut may not cut all the way through.
There is little support from the rear fences, and a regular result is that the waste piece catches on a fence, which can then knock fences out of alignment and affect accuracy. Long term, this can damage the machine.
Version 6.4.33.0 added a parameter called throwawayEjectAtStart. When set to true, the offending waste piece is sent to the start of the bar - ie it is cut first. This is a good idea because the machine has much better control of the piece in the clamps, and it can be dealt with on the outfeed side of the saw blade.
throwawayAtStart=True
