Version A of this assembly has been superseded by this version, due to lack of material availability in version A. The new version is provides exactly the same functionality, is fully backwards compatible and is designed to be replaced as a complete sub-assembly.
The driver behind this upgrade is that the 2 main tubes are no longer available in the tolerances that they were. This has resulted in some not fitting inside the other, making assembly impossible. Therefore we have changed the sizes of the smaller tube (new part is D0015949 - Telescopic Pusher (2021)), and as a result updated the "top hat" (new part is D0015950 - Spring Retainer Top Hat (2021)) that fits in the end of it.
