The Spindle Home Sensor position has been moved to pick up a magnet mounted to the rod end. This will mean that the control system will pick up that the spindle is not in its home position if the cylinder rod shears again.
The solution reuses the existing home position reed switch. This is mounted to a new bracket that is mounted to the nose end of the cylinder.
A self-adhesive magnet, that the reed switch can sense, is fixed to the rod end.
