Fitting the infeed guide for the ZX5 saw

Problem

When the profile is being fed into the saw side, it sometimes fouls on the back, fixed, upright, rollers of the saw clamp. As the nearest guide on the saw infeed table is over 2 feet away, a slight bow on the profile can cause this. Is it possible to fit another guide or roller closer to the entrance to the saw?

Solution

Infeed guide has been designed to fit on the saw hood

Two holes will need to be drilled

1. Top hole through the top hood
2. Bottom hole through frame bar

Use straight edge to give 1mm clearance behind backfence rollers

Attach with bolt, nyloc nut and washers en none 0
