Gripper
The Gripper arm is located on the Outfeed table and is designed to accurately pull the profile through the Machining Centre for the various machining operations. Once these operations are complete the gripper then pulls the profile on to the Outfeed table. This movement is controlled on the X axis.
The gripper also moves in a side to side direction, this is the G axis (on older software, this was sometimes referred to as the S axis). This movement is used to give accurate poisoning of the gripper on all types of profile.
