LEV Regulations
There have been several enquiries from customers about the adherence to LEV regulations of the exhaust systems used on the Stuga Machinery. The LEV regulations only apply to exhaust systems that are installed because of an associated Health risk due to airborne fumes, dust or debris.
The design and installation intent for the exhaust system is for housekeeping and cleanliness only.
The machine is not dependent on the exhaust system for safe running, if the exhaust is disconnected the machine would simply need more regular manual cleaning
The dust and debris created when sawing and machining is not considered harmful by the profile manufacturers. If any further detail on this point is needed, the customer should approach their individual profile supplier.
Therefore the LEV regulations do not apply in this case.
