Zx5-Zx 4-Zx3-FL-S65 Saw Blade Removal and Refitting

Information for procedure to remove and refit cutting blade on saw head.

Introduction

Tools required

M0000055 24mm standard spanner x 1

D0005207 Flange C spanner x 1

Étape 1 - Open front door for access

1 Open front door via control screen

2 Ensure emergency stop system is also activated for safe working

3 Remove swarf from saw

Étape 2 - Attach Flange Spanner

1 Flange C spanner D0005207

2 Align pins into main saw front flange and insert

3 24mm Spanner

4 Release bolt in direction shown

Étape 3 - Parts to remove

1 Remove M16 bolt and washer

2 Remove front flange

Étape 4 - Remove blade

1 Gently rock blade towards the direction indicated by (2) whilst angling the blade as shown by gaps indicated . This will automatically happen if narrow cut slit strips are fitted above the blade

2 Blade will now free of mounting point

3 Remove blade from machine

Étape 5 - Fit new blade

...Ensure new blade is fitted in the correct orientation

1 Check blade orientation is as shown

2 Align top of blade to enter slit strips above

3 Position centre of blade over point indicated

4 Use rocking motion to enable blade to locate correctly

Étape 6 - Captivate blade

1 Refit front flange

2 Refit M16 bolt and retaining washer

3 Refit C flange spanner and 24mm spanner and tension bolt

4 Bolt should be tensioned as tight as possible using only the tools shown
