Using Windows to Create a Personal Hotspot

This lets your Windows 10 PC share its internet connection (via Ethernet) with other devices like tablets or phones.

Introduction

Requirements:

• The PC must have Wi-Fi hardware that supports Hosted Network (most do).
• You must have an active internet connection to share.

Étape 1 - Open Settings

Press Win + I to open Settings.

Étape 2 - Go to Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot

Étape 3 - Choose the Internet connection to share

Under "Share my Internet connection from", choose Ethernet

Étape 4 - Configure your hotspot

Click on Edit to set your Network name (SSID) and Password.

Étape 5 - Turn it on

Toggle "Share my Internet connection with other devices" to On.

Étape 6 - Connect your tablet

On your tablet, turn on Wi-Fi and connect to the new hotspot using the name and password you set.
