Name Eject Cylinder Floating Mount
Created By Gareth Green
Applies To All Sawing Modules
From Build(s) John Fredericks Plastics Ltd (JFP) #1 Z106
Effective from 26 Aug 2024
Assemblies R0000571F
Change Added a floating joint to the cylinder end, necessitating and extended cylinder spacer for the eject cylinder. The spacer mounts separately to the cylinder and then to the eject carriage
Reason For Change Cylinder alignment suspected as a major root cause of regular nose seal failures. This upgrade is fairly simple and low cost without any downsides. The location of this mount makes alignment difficult, so this should ease the replacement process, as the alignment is not so important
