Details of kit to prevent swarf blockage on hepco ring on Autoflow SR axis

Problem

With the Autoflow SR Axis bearing system change to a hepco rail system, issues have occurred due to swarf blockage.

Solution

A system has been designed to combat the issue in 2 ways; Blowers to pevent swarf build up and scrapers to keep the journals clear of swarf

Blowers

The blowers will run from a new valve to be installed on the saw turret

  1. FIt Valve
  2. Cable valve output to Fieldbus box
  3. Run blue 6mm pipe to Port 1 from a tee into nearest supply to a valve bank. This may necessitate the pipe running through the SR axis caterpillar trunking
  4. Run blower output from port 4.
  5. Spilt the blower output into 4 using the tees
  6. Each of 4 blower tees will end in a copper pipe that should blow the area under the SR cover
