Elte motors were supplied with a replacement plastic rear cover without fan baffle. The reason for this cover was a suggestion that when clogged with swarf, it may contribute to premature failure of the motor due to overheating. Since this assumption, many other (proven) root causes have been found, so the decision has been made on the Teknomotor to retain the cover plate as fitted and monitor the situation.

Rear Cover

Elte motors were supplied with a replacement plastic rear cover without fan baffle. The reason for this cover was a suggestion that when clogged with swarf, it may contribute to premature failure of the motor due to overheating. Since this assumption, many other (proven) root causes have been found, so the decision has been made on the Teknomotor to retain the cover plate as fitted and monitor the situation.

Collet Nut

The collet nut supplied as standard with a Teknomotor is a C-type. Please discard this and use the collet and nut from the replaced motor
