Operating procedures and instructions for the emergency repair kit for Samsung / Nextmove machines

Goal

This kit is to simplify the process of identifying and repairing drive and motor problems on site on older obsolete systems. It uses the spare service exchange stock harvested from refurbishments, rebuild and drive upgrades. This kit solves the following problems

  • Attempting to successfully diagnose a faulty problem on phone support
  • Successfully identifying the correct stock items
  • Sending an engineer without the correct parts
  • Reducing cost to customer where the root cause of a problem is not clear
  • Improve first time fix, as all potential parts are on site to test
  • Move the drive programming function to the engineer on site by sending a drive programming unit
...The drive programmers are extremely rare so must be treated with care and must be returned

Warranty

These parts are offered as second and emergency repair item only and are not offered with a warranty

Machines Covered

This kit is only suitable for the following machine types, using a Nextmove control system.

Does not apply to machines that have been upgraded to the Beckhoff control system
