Details

The Ecoline was manufactured from 2003 to 2005, and all machines are still in production today, outliving the expected design lifespan of 10 years.

Following the sudden and unexpected liquidation of Smartdrive Ltd in January 2017 a key UK supplier of stepper motor control products to Stuga since 1986), many of the system components in the Ecoline are now obsolete.

Stuga are now able to offer a total refurbishment of the drives and controls system, replacing with a state of the art Beckhoff control system with 6 axes of servo drives. This upgrade increases the performance of the machine by over 50%. Details on request from Stuga

...Note: Stuga are now also unable to support or replace the PC in the original systems as it relies on an older version of MS Access, which is no longer supported by Microsoft
