The sensor gap should also be checked after installation. The maximum Gap to operate is upto 4mm.
ideally the sensor should be setup to read closer than this - about 1mm all the way along the Striking plate. A2029 sensor was fitted right on the edge of the 4mm range, and If john gently wobbled the sensor it went on and off.
