Introduction
Step 1 - Open the IP Camera Stream
Launch Microsoft Edge.
Navigate to your IP camera's live stream page and start the video feed.
Step 2 - Launch the Snipping Tool
Press Windows Key + Shift + S, or
Click Start, search for Snipping Tool, and open it.
Step 3 - Switch to Video Mode
In the Snipping Tool, click the camera icon at the top to switch from screenshot to screen recording mode.
Then click New
Step 4 - Select the Recording Area
Click and drag to select the video area only (e.g., the part of the screen showing your camera feed).
When you're happy with the selection, click the Start button (record icon) in the control panel that appears
Step 5 - Record the Clip
Let the video stream run for the duration you want to capture.
When finished, click the Stop button in the floating toolbar.
Step 6 - Review and Save
The Snipping Tool will open a preview window showing your recorded clip.
Click Save As (floppy disk icon) to store the video (.mp4 format) in your chosen folder.
